NZAMH
The New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists is the professional
body representing appropriately trained practitioners of herbal
medicine in New Zealand. Consulting an NZAMH accredited medical
herbalist is your guarantee that you are seeing a practitioner
who is fully qualified to practice herbal medicine, abides
by a Code of Ethics and undertakes continuing professional
education. NZAMH professional members may use MNZAMH after
their name and use the title 'Registered Medical Herbalist'.
Herbal medicine is the traditional medicine of all cultures
and remains the most widely used system of medicine in the
world today. Herbal medicine is being increasingly validated
as modern science seeks to understand the chemistry of medicinal
herbs and to confirm their safety and efficacy in clinical
trials. Almost any condition that patients might see their

it is extremely effective for treating disorders of the nervous
system, digestive system, immune system and also hormonal
complaints. A qualified medical herbalist knows when a condition
is best seen by another health professional and will refer
